POWER STATION MISHAP.

TATHtANGA MAN'S INJURY. COUNCIL EXONERATES STAEF. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) TAURANGA, this day. A special meeting of the Tauranga Borough Council was held yesterday afternoon to investigate matters in connection with an accident to Mr. R. Crabbe, a power station employee. After evidence had been heard a resolution was passed to the effect that no fault could be found with the staff in connection with the accident. The council again extended its sympathy to the victim of the accident. In the accident Mr. Crabbe's head came into contact with a live wire and he was seriously injured. An action brought by Mr. Crabbe against the Tauranga Borough Council was settled for a payment of £2940.
