BANKRUPTCY CASES.
SEVEN DISCHARGES GRANTED. ORDERS FOR ADJUDICATION. A short sitting in bankruptcy was held by Mr. Justice Smith at the Supreme Court this morning. Discharges were granted in the following cases: —John Horace Douglas Rutledge, of Raukore, sheepfarmer; William Albert Wilkinson, of Auckland, printer; John William Birch, Arthur Edward Birch, Joseph Robson Birch and Charles Henry Birch, of Whangarei, cabinetmakers; Sydney Clayton Eslick, of Pakotai, farmer.
The following were adjudicated bankrupts: —J. Buchan, of Auckland, fisherman; S. A. Jensen, of Henderson, married woman, possessed of separate estate; G. Jackson, of Newton, Auckland, dealer; H. J. Morris, Auckland, storekeeper (married woman, possessed of separate estate); H. G. Miller, of Auckland, garage proprietor.
