GLENDOWIE LADIES' CLUB. Tbe Glendowie Ladies Golf Club will hold an open day next Wednesday, when a medal handicap competition will be played in three grades, play commencing at 11 o'clock. MAUNGAKIEKIE LADIES' CLUB. The coronation modal and Aotea Roa Cup competition, which were to have been pljyod on Wednesday by members of the Maungakiekle Ladies' Golf Club, were postponed and will be played on Monday. The original draw will stand, play commencing at 10.30 o'clock.
The first round of the president's match will be played on Wednesday. A medal handicap match will bo held for players not: engaged in match play.
The best scores returned in the C grade match played yesterday were:-—Miss A. I'.evege 120, Mrs. E. Williams and Mrs. A. Bartley 122, Miss J. Stewart 123, Mrs. Will and Mrs. I. Paterson 124.
A teams' match played yesterday between members of the Maungakiokie and I'ukekohe Ladies' Golf Clubs resulted in a win for the former by four matches to two (two being all square). Results, Pukekohe names first:—Miss L. Potter lost to Miss D. Lamb, 4 and 2; Miss Jeffries lost to Mrs. J. Jcrrat, 5 and 3; Mrs. McWhirter lost to Miss B. Abbott. 1 up ; Mrs. Maddisou lost to Miss F. Saxton, 1 up; Mrs. Jordan and Miss H. Hnrdley, all square; Miss A. Potter and Mrs. J. Lloyd, all square ; Mrs. Harper beat Mrs. Fee, 7 and G ; Mrs. Pike beat Miss R. Hill, 4 and 3. MANUKAU CLUB. The Cambridge Ladles' Golf Club held a tournament yesterday in fine weather. Visitors wore present from Walton, Morrinsville, Hamilton and Te Awamutu. A trophy for the best gross score of the clay was won liv Mrs. Freeman, with 86. Mrs. McDonald (Te Awamutu), with 00, registered the best gross score for the visitors. Results : — Senior medal round. IS holes: Mrs. Freeman. 86—11—75. Junior modal round, 18 holes: Miss Jessie Watt, 99—22—77. Canadian foursomes, 12 holes: Misses Audrey Hewitt and Jean Brewer, 65—8— 57. C grade match, nine holes: Mrs. A. R. Bachelor, 113.
