ROWING.
AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION. At (be meeting of the executive of the Auckland Rowing Association, held last night, the following appointments were made in connection with the inter-ehib races, the junior double sculls and Mason Cup fours, to he rowed over the Orakei course on Sunday morning:—Starter. Mr. A. Ross; umpire, Mr. A. Pooley; judges, Messrs. C. H. Hunt, A. Wilson. The following sub-committee, Messrs. C. H. Hunt, J. Aitken, A. Pooley, E. H. Buckler, were appointed to draw up a report on the West End Rowing Club's appeal recently submitted to tlie New Zealand Rowing Council, and submit same to the governing council hi Wellington.
