MANUKAU YACHT CXUB. ANNUAL PRIZE NIGHT. The Manukau Yacht and Motor Boat Club held the forty-iirst annual prize night in the Foresters' Theatre, Onehunga, last evening. There was an attendance of over 300 members and friends, including representatives from 'the Akarana, Ponsonby, Takapuna, Richmond, Tamaki, Otahuhu and Manukau Cruising Clubs, and the Auckland Yacht and Motor Boat Association. Mr. E. Morton, Mayor of Onehunga, and president of the club, before distributing the prizes, congratulated the officers and members of the club on the success of the season, and thanked the donors of trophies and cash prizes. The clubhouse had recently been painted and a wide built-in balcony now graced the front of the building. Racing had been keen, and the Takapuna class was now well established on the harbour through the efforts of the club. The principal prize-winners were : —l-lf t championship, Sea Gnome ; open championship, Drone; 18ft championship, Drone; speed boat championship, Spot; Takapuna class champion, Don McLeod. McLeod. C. Pickering, P. Marks, G. Halford and J. Cooper won first prizes in the Takapuna class. B. Rawlinson won the Juvenile Harmony Cup In competition with the Takapuna crew, and was specially commended by Mr. Morton,
