Miss Alice Law has returned from Hawera, Taranaki, where she has been the guest of Mrs. 0. K. Tennent. While in Hawera Miss Law gave a piano lec-ture-recital to the members of the Women's Club.

Nurse C. Cherry, who has been with the Auckland branch of school hygiene, Department of Health, for the last 11 years, has been transferred to the Cliristchurch branch, and left by the Limited on Monday evening. She was trained in the Auckland Hospital, and was also an ex-sister of the New Zealand Army Nursing Service.
