ALLEGED THEFT OF £20. COMMITTED FOR TRIAL. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) TE KUITI, this day. The cx-poetm aster of Waitomo, Bertie Stevenson Twidle, 40, married, appeared on remand to-day before Messrs. J. F. Waleh and T. Carrol, justices nf the peace, charged with the theft of £20, the property of the Postmaster-General. Accused pleaded not guilty und was committed for trial at the Hamilton session of the Supreme Court. Bail was allowed in one surety of £100.
