OVERSEAS INVESTMENT.
The largest commercial afforestation company in the world is to be round in New Zealand. Although this fact may seem at first a trifle strange, further reflection will show that it is only natural because softwoods grow at a quicker rate in New I Zealand than anywhere else In the world. The company concerned—N.Z. Perpetual Forests, Ltd.—has received tremendous \ support not only in New Zealand and Australia, but also in Great Urltain, France, India, and the Pacific countries. One or the chief reasons for its great success ; (bonds issued total £3,500,000) is the fact ■ that it combines security with an unusually high rale of return.— (Ad.)
