JAPANESE BOMB VICTIM. SHANGHAI, May 24. The reported death of General Baron Shirakawa, Commander-in-Chief of the Japanese forces at Shanghai, who was injured in the recent bomb outrage, was premature. Baron Shirakawa is still clinging tenaciously to a slight thread of life. A last-minute effort to sav& his life was made this morning when a blood transfusion was given.
