NO-RENT CAMPAIGNS
INDIAN CONGRESS' THREAT. CALCUTTA, May 24. The Indian National Congress is threatening a revival of its campaign of incitement in the United Provinces, urging peasants not to pay rent to landlords. The police accordingly have banned the proposed Allahabad Conference.
