MOTORIST FINED.

CHARGE OF INTOXICATION.

At a sitting of the Pukekolic Police Court yesterday, before Messrs. C. K. Lawrie and D. M. Armstrong, J.P. a, John Raymond Clinch, of Htintly, was charged with being found in a state of intoxication while in charge of a motor ear at Tuakau.

It was staled that a doctor had said accused was not in such a state as to render him incapable of driving a car, but the doctor did not attend Court to give evidence. The Bench accepted flic police evidence, and convicted and lined defendant £2.
