SEVERE LOSSES.
Kreuger Failure Causes Firms To Close Down. HINT OF BLACKMAIL. STOCKHOLM, April 10. Four Swedish stockbroking firms have closed down owing to severe losses in the Kreugcr crash.
A suggestion that considerable sums of money which disappeared from the assets of the Kreuger and Toll Company were used by Kreuger himself to buy oir blackmailers abroad is advanced by tiie Stockholm newspaper, "Tidningen." It says many persons must have known of Krcuger's irregular proceedings and it is thought they must have been paid heavily to keep silent.
