AUCKLAND CLUB. Members of the Auckland Golf Club (women's) opened their season at Middlemore yesterday. Sixty players took part in a Canadian foursomes medal competition, after which those present were entertained at afternoon ton by the president, Miss M. Morton. A medal round will be played by the A and B grade players of the North Shore Golf Club (women's) next Wednesday. I'lav will commence at 10 o clock and players may choose own partners.
