KNOCKED DOWN BY CAR.
MANTJREWA RESIDENT INJURED. On leaving a chemist's shop in Queen Street this morning, Mrs. Dora Thwaites, of Massey Road, Manurewa, proceeded to cross the street and was knocked down by a motor car. She was take* so the Auckland Hospital, where an examination showed that she had received serious head injuries.
