ACCIDENTS.
MAN SCALDED. ACCIDENT AT WESTFIELD. • At the West-field, freezing works yesterday afternoon, Mr. Robert Blackwell, aged 39, married, received severe scalds on the face, chest and arms from steam which escaped from a pipe which he had disconnected. Mr. Blackwell, who is a fitter, was working on the steam plant. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital by the St. John Ambulance. The man, who resides in Onslow Road, Ellerslie, is not in a serious condition.
