BUILDING PERMITS.
SHRINKAGE AT WHANGAJtEI. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. There was a big shrinkage in the building permits issued in Whangarei yast year, only 92 permits being issued, .with a value of £15,607. In 1030-31 the 171 permits issued represented a. value of £53,053. Nineteen new dwellings were erected last year.
