IMPROVING SCHOOL GROUNDS
Another instance of school grounds having been improved by means of the No. 5 unemployment scheme is at the Northcote District High School, where £1123 has been disbursed in wages o work which has provided the tennis, cricket and football Paying areas The school committee has appointed a groundsman, Mr. J. Smith, of Northcote.
