RELICS OF THE M 2.

WHAT THE SEA GAVE UP. (Received 1 p.m.) LONDON, February 2. Sir Eyre-Monsell, First Lord, of the Admiralty, after detailing the circumstances surrounding the loss of the submarine M 2, said there was a complete absence of floating wreckage, but oil and air hubbies were an unusual feature. When the last obstruction was located, the cap of the coxswain of the M 2 was found floating in the sea, while under the sea was found a canvas bag containing the submarine's handflags and a petty officer's collar. A full inquiry will be held at the eariieet convenience, but until the M 2 is found and examined, the cause of the disaster must remain a mystery.
