PORT FREMANTLE FIRE.

VESSEL SAILS ON SATURDAY. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. No work was done on the motor shin Port Fremantle to-day. Because of the nature of the work of discharging th e cargo, which was damaged by the fire in No. 5 hold, a special award of pay. ment had to be decided, and this was arranged yesterday. To-day, however, on account of a disagreement in interpreting the agreement, no work -was done. Very little cargo remains in the holds awaiting discharge, and as soon as loading commences, it is believed that no difficulty will arise over wages. As a result of an examination to-dav by surveyors, the ship was parsed, anil she leaves on Saturday for London.
