MOTORIST REBUKED.

OFFSIDE TRAFFIC RULE. In lining a motorist £1 and £1 18/ costs for failing to give way at the intersection of Avenue Road and Panmure Road, Otahuhu, thereby causing a collision, Mr. F. H. Levien, S.M., said: "You put the other person in grave peril. You say he should have gone to the rear of your car. How many seconds did he get to decide whether to go front or rear? You have no right to cross an intersection until you know what is coming. If he is expected to give way to traffic on his right, so also should you."
