OVER SEVENTY THOUSAND

LARGE INCREASE LAST YEAR. There was an increase of 11,000 receiving radio licenses in New Zealand last year, the total number being 71,453. Dealers in Auckland report an encouraging volume of business, although Wellington takes first place in the number of licenses issued.
