GOLD REPATRIATED.

DECISION IN TRANCE. NEW YORK, January 20. The Bank of France has arranged to repatriate 125,000,000 dollars of gold now held under earmark. New York bankers, however, assert that the transfer does not involve any increase in gold holdings of the French Centrai Bank, nor any decrease in the monetary gold stocks of the United States, which a week ago totalled 4,457,000,000 dollars, aside from which approximately 400,000,000 dollars here are earmarked to foreign accounts, particularly Belgium.
