NORTH ISI/ANl> TOXTB. AERO CLUB CAPTAIN'S FLIGHT. The possibility of air travel as a means of helping commerce in New Zealand are indicated by a business trip on which Mr. E. R. Boucher, captain of the Auckland Aero Club, is engaged. ! Mr. Boucher left the Mangere aero- j drome at 4 p.m. on Monday. In less than 2J hours he reached New Plymouth, despite the handicap of a strong head wind. Yesterday he flew to Wanganui, and this morning reached Palmerston North. He was due to leave there later this morning for Masterton, to arrive at Hastings to-night. He hopes to return to Mangere on Friday. He is accompanied by Mr. Selwyn Robinson, and is flyinl' one of the club 'planes, a Moth, ZKACC.
Tiree of the club's 'planes left to-day for Onewhero, near Tuakau, for the purpose of making passenger flights with country residents. Flight-Lieutenant Allen left this morning in another club 'plane for the same destination.
