) SUIT AND OVERCOAT. ■ j ELDERLY MAN IMPRISONED. j"I was drunk and don't remember, but I plead guilty," said George McDonald Campbell, aged 65, labourer, when charged to-day v/ith stealing a suit and overcoat valued at £11 11/. Detective Sergeant Kelly said Constable Sherson saw Campbell carrying an unwrapped suit and an overcoat over his arm in Hobson Street yesterday. It was , later ascertained that the suit and overcoat had been stolen from the room of a guest at a city hotel... Campbell said he was going to pawn the clothes. •Accused, who had a number of previous convictions, was sentenced to tliwe months'imprisonment.
