Musical critics give appreciative notice to Mr. Arthur Benjamin's one-act opera, "Devil Take Her," the libretto for which was written by the late Mr. Gilbert Alan Collard, of New Zealand. Sir Thomas Beecham paid the composer the compliment of conducting the first performance at the Royal College of Music, where the opera had an enthusiastic reception. y
