PROHIBITION ORDER FOR WOMAN,

Pleading guilty to stealing a watch valued at £1 5/, the* property of Thomas Moore, Margaret Emily Doherty, alias Speakman, a domestic, aged 32, was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence if called on within six months by Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., this morning. Counsel said accused was at a party on October 5 and had taken the watch from the house. She traded it in at a hotel for two bottles of beer. Drink was her trouble, and she was willing to take out a prohibition order. The magistrate ordered her to take out an order.
