CAR DRIVER KILLED.
VEHICLE GOES OVER BANK. VICTIM A LIGHTHOUSE KEEPER. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Sunday. A fatal motoring accident occurred at Harrington Point, Port Chalmers, about 7.30 last evening. a car driven by Mr, David Simpson, assistant lighthouse keeper at Taiaroa Heads, was going up the hill, it left the road and plunged over the bank. ' The three occupants were thrown out. Mr. Simpson's neck was broken 'and his skull fractured. The other occupants of the car, Mrs. Simpson, wife of the deceased, and Miss Flora McDonald, daughter of the head keeper of. the lighthouse, suffered considerably.-, from shock, and Miss McDonald's nose \vae broken.
