WELCOME DANCE.
On Saturday evening a reception anil danco was given by Mr. F. P. Chapman, upon the- occasion of his mother's visit from England. The hall at Narrow Neck was tastefully decorated with coloured streamers, inuring supper a 'presentation in the form 01 a iUaori welcome was made by Mr. lSrucc JiJhvortlx to Mrs. (Jliapman on behalf of the guests. The guest 61' honour wore a gown in pastel siiades of Moral satin witu bands of fur, and the guests were received by Alls. Lloyd, in scarlet patterned georgette, Miss .Winnie Hunt, ecu green georgette and embo.sed chenille coat, Aliss Nathalie ju..r<jess, wine georgette with floating panels, and Miss Phil McLouglin, powaer bluo satin.
