Lucidus was the initial victor, beating Amber Link and Knight of Australia in the Melrose Maiden. Hererhia lifted the Tiri High-weight, being followed home by Principal and Neil.
Chiysology and Paganelli paid the dividends in the Borough Handicap, in which the third horse was Vali. N . *
