Reports reached. the city last night of gpypvul serious Communist (listiu'bauoes in various - suburbs. The worst was at Darlingluirst, where rioting lasted for a considerable time.

A Communist named Schelly was) addressing- the Darliughurst meeting when the riot oecui'red. At Kogarah an "all-in'' light resulted from a man refusing to remove his hat during the singing of the National. Anthem,
.Thirty poliecmou intervened in a melee at Drummoyne, and 4000 people at Enfield pulled the speakers from the platform - and took charge of the meeting.' They reneatedly sang the National Anthem and Rule Britannia. The "Hod" speakers retreated after being several times "counted out,"
At several meetings the Communist speakers Were hooted and hauled down from the soap boxes and roughly handled by the. huge crowds which gatherod, People were trampled underfoot and the police had a trying time, The casualties are not yet available.
It is reliably stated that the New Guard took a prominent part in dealing with the Communists, having given them two months to cease their activities, which time expired last night. s
