DEPUTATION TO GAOL.
A deputation will visit the Mount Eden Gaol to-morrow to lay requests before the warden regarding the case of George Budd, who was sentenced to imprisonment following an attempt to resist an eviction at Norfolk Street,' Ponsonby, la«t month. It is allegedthat Budd has been placed under solitary confinement.
