AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION.

EXECUTIVE DECISIONS.

Arrangements in connection with the New Zealand championship regatta at Hamilton were discussed at a meeting of the Auckland Rowing Association last night. The following officials were recommended :—Judges, Messrs. C. C. Cairns, A. M. Wilson. C. 11. llolloway, A. M. Bisle.v ; starter, Mr. S. A. T. Buchanan; umpire, Mr. 13. H. Buckler, with Messrs. C. D. Molesworth and A. Anders deputy-umpires; clerks of scales, Messrs. J. C. Aicken and S. Davison. Advice was received from the West End Rowing Club that, so far as' present arrangements permit, the only inter-club events the club would compete in would be the Caro Cup, Hislop Cup and Barratt Cup. The donation of a shield to the North Shore Club by Mrs. It. I<\ Bennett was announced by Mr. B. Rutledge, who stated that the shield was for inter-club competition, and to go to the club winning the greatest number of points on rules yet to be submitted to the association for approval. Officials for the Tauranga regatta were appointed as follows : —Starter and umpire, Mr. IS. IT. Buckler; judges, Messrs. C. 11. Hunt and A. M. Wilson ; clerk of scales. Mr. J. C. Aicken. Approval of the use of the association's eights for the regatta was given, subject to reasonable weather conditions. W AITEM AT A CLUB. The Waitemata Boating Club's trial fours to-morrow afternoon will be for the Schmidt Trophicsl NORTH SHORE CLUB. CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday

A rowing race between fours from Christ's College and Wanganui Technical College was held on the Avon, and won by the Christ's College crew by three lengths. The course was approximately a mile, and the time of the winning crew was 0.49.
