NGARUAWAHIA CLUB.
THE ANNUAL MEETING.
The annual meeting of the Ngaru&wahia Racing Club was held on Monday night, the president, Mr. A. Sutherland, -presiding. The report and balance-sheet in connection with the last race meeting were considered most favourable, and a programme, similar to last year, carrying over lOOsovs in money, wag drawn up for the next non-totalisator meeting, to be held on January 23. _ The following officers were elected: — Patron, Mr. A. H. Waring; president, Mr. •A. Sutherland; secretary, Mr. A. B. Jones; judicial stewards, Messrs. A. Sutherland, L. Pettit, S. J. Webb, C. Corboy, B. A. Smith, W. Hedley and J. Gavanagh; judge, Mr. T. A. Tangney, Auckland; handicappers, Messrs. C. Goosman and F. McManemin; starter, ■Mr. A. Paterson. L. B. Harris was elected a life niember, he being one of the oldest members of the club.
