The final figures in the London municipal elections show that the Conservatives retained 18 boroughs, and won five from Labour, which lias now a majority only at Bermondsey, Deptford and Poplar. The Liberals hold Bethnal Green. The final London jrains and losses are:— Gains. Losses.' Conservatives 189 2 Labour 0 210 Liberals 12 0 Independents 23 1 CYPRUS RIOTERS. NEARLY 400 DEPORTED. ("Times" Cables.) LONDON, November 4. The Nicosia correspondent of "The Times" says six leaders of the revolt have been deported for life. Altogether about 400 persons have been arrested.

Since the burning of Government House a proclamation has been.' issued making the municipalities responsible for all damage done by rioters.
