al Thc Parliament of a Dominion has full power 1 to make laws having extraterritorial operation. ■tr Q i,H!tv Repeal of the Colonial Laws Valduty Act, which means that hereaiter the Parliament of the United Kingdom cannot declare void and inoperative an Acof a Dominion Parliament on the ground that that Dominion Act is repugnant to the law of England. ■ _ ■ > No Act of Parliament of the United Kingdom after the passing of the statute shall extend to a Dominion as part ot the law in force in that Dominion unless the Dominion desires it. The Merchant Shipping Act of 1804 shall cease to-be operative in the Dominions, thus giving to the Dominions from that date control over shipping in ana out of their ports. The Dominions will be given the power to establish and control their own Admiralty Courts. ,-.'•/, In British Columbia and in the maritime provinces great importance is attached to the provisions by which Canada will secure control of shipping.
