STAINFORTH'S ALTERED TIME. (Received 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, October 13. Owing to a elight error in calculating the time of the first lap clone by FlightLieutenant Stainforth a month ago over the Solent, the Royal Aero Club has revised his average speed. He is credited with 407.3 m.p.h., which the International Air Federation will be asked to approve as the world's speed, record.
