In consequence of an official report that there are 275 cases of influenza in American Samoa the Administration at Apia has strictly debarred shipping contact with that place. Consequently the passenger and mail service is dislocated. A large parcel of European mails is waiting dispatch. The 11 passengers from the Tofua who were quarantined have been released.
