TWO MEN KILLED.

AIR COMPRESSOR BURSTS,

SYDNEY, September 20,

As the result of the explosion of an air compressor at Broken Hill two mine officials, Edgar Gilbert and. Charles Pett, were killed. Buildings close by were shaken and windows .were broken.

The noise of the explosion was heard throughout the city. The victims were attempting to start a new air compressor when it blew out at the side at which they were standing.
