At a meeting held recently, Mrs. J. B. McKinney presided. A demonstration of passe partout was given by Mrs. G. Dunnet. The Rev. H. V. Salmon gave a talk on England and concluded with many humorous stories in dialect. A rail call, "Children's Funny Sayings, brought forth many amusing anecdotes. In a competition, "sponge - k cake made with butter," the first place was gained by Mrs. Treasfield, second, Mrs. Sinton and Mrs. Newuham, third Mrs. Masou. The hostesses were Mesdames H. Carter, James and ? miman-Worron.
