T Mr. W. T. G. Airey, lecturer in history at Auckland University College, has left New Zealand to attend a meeting of the Institute of Pacific Relations a! Hankow, China. Mr. A. E. Bouillon, manager of the Hamilton branch of the Bank of New Zealand, has been, appointed to the managerial relieving staff -of the bank, after 38£ years' service. Mr. E. C. Sare, of Auckland,, succeeds Mr. Bouillon at Hamilton. ',
