APPEAL FOR CARPENTERS.

There i<s a large number of carpenters out of work, and Mr. T. Bloodworth., secretary of the Amalgamated Society; of Carpenters and Joiners, is making an appeal to property owners to havenecessary repairs carried out, to tide some of these men over the remainderof the winter. ~

"I have made a thorough of a number of our city streets," said Mr. Bloodworth, "and have found that many' places, should be repaired and renovated.; This is a good time to have the work done. ' Plenty of men are offering, and employers can rely upon the men giving honest service."
