BIG MEETING TO-MORROW

BIG PUMP COMES OUT TO-DAY.

(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.)

WHANGAREI, this day.

As far as can be gathered the position at Hikurangi is unchanged. The miners arc awaiting the arrival of Messrs. W; E. Parry, R. Semple and H. M. Rushworth, M.P.'a, who arc interviewing the directors of the Hikurangi Coal Company and Wilsons (N.Z.) Portland Cement Company at Auckland to-day, and who are to bo present at a big meeting at Hikurangi to-morrow.

A representative of the "Star" received definite information to-day to the effect that the big pump in No. 8 section of Wilsons Colliery is coming out to-day and that the mine will finish operations definitely to-morrow morning.
