One hundred a-nd forty Wallsend miners were to-day fined 10/ each and 1/ costs for participating in an unlawful strike on June 17 and 18. An appeal is probable, on a point of law. The miners were prosecuted by an Inspector of Awards, and the reserved decision of Mr. J. H. Meldrum, S.M., was delivered to-dav. .
