WALKER SUFFERS DEFEAT. DISQUALIFIED IN FIFTH ROUND. (By Telegraph.—Own WELLINGTON, this day. In the return wrestling bout - (between George Walker and Stanley Pinto, staged at Wellington on Monday night, Walker suffered his third defeat since he has been wrestling in this country, his first season here being in 1929. Walker threw Pinto out of the ring in the fifth round and earned disqualification from the referee. The bout opened sensationally, Walker taking Pinto iby surprise with a flying tackle in the first few seconds of the commencement. Pinto was knocked out and easily pinned, and the action was hooted iby a section of the crowd. _ Pinto proved himself superior _in trie second round, having Walker worried with head scissors and body scissors. The third round was in favour of Walker, who threw Pinto to the ropes with headlocks on several occasions. _ . ' Early in the fourth round Pinto picked •his opponent up and slammed him heavily to the mat, evening the falls. Walker came out looking groggy in the fifth round and Pinto threw him through the Topes, the referee counting four 'before Walker returned to the ring. Pinto jfchen applied a head-lock, but Walker picked him jap and threw 'him right out of the ring into the crowd. It wassome time before Pinto was raised to his. feet and he stood against the platform, for some seconds with his head resting in his arms.' When he was assisted back into the ring the referee held <up his hand as a signal that Walker had been disqualified and. the contest awarded to his opponent. Walker employed the same sensational tactics of using a flying tackle at the very commencement of the first round in his match last year with Kotsonaros, whom he defeated. SUCCESSFUL DEBUT.
