WELLINGTON CHAMPIONSHIP.
KARORI'S UNDEFEATED RECORD,
The senior hockey championship in Wellington has been won by Karori, who have not been defeated this season. The "Dominion" states that the fin;O match between the winners and Wellington, who were runners-up, was robbed of much of its interest owing to the unassailable position of Karori with a five-point lead. Wellington played up to form in the lirst half, but went to "pieces in the second spell, to be defeated by 2 goals to nil. The championship table is as follows: — Goals P. W. L. D. F. A. Pts. Karori 15 11 0 4 45 16 26 Wellington ..15 9 3 3 36 17 21 Ilutt 15 7 5 S 28 3,3 17 Varsity 15 5 8 2 27 35 12 Wesley 15 5 8 2 20 31 12 Y.M.C.A 15 0 13 2 21 56 2 The senior B championship will be decided next Saturday.
