LOW-LYING HIGHWAY.
REMEDIAL MEASURES URGED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) FOXTOA T , this day. A representative public meeting unanimously decided to request the Main Highways Board to undertake the raising of llio Whirokino portion of the main Wellington-Auckland highway, which portion is subject to Howling, and also to carry out certain drainage works for relieving the area of Hood waters adjacent to the highway. :
