SWISS STUDENTS AND DUELS.
Swiss University societies have just organised to put up a hard fight in favour of the time honoured custom of student duels. A bill, now pending before the Swiss chambers classes duelling with ordinary crimes.
The backers of the niovemt-iit have arranged for a hearing at which the,v will insist that student duels should not be classed as a crime. Duelling is stijl in. vogue in Switzerland in■ the four German speaking universities of Berne, Zurich, Basle and Fiibourg.' '. • - :
