LEVEL CROSSING ACCIDENT.
i . ..• ■■ ' A railway engine and a motor omnibus • collided at the Totara Avenue level , crossing, New Lynn, last evening, but i fortunately no injury was suffered by r either of the two men oh the vehicle. > . The bus, which is the property of the ! Auckland Bus Company, was being 1 tested, and was about to cross the riietals when the whistle of the engine was heard. The driver pulled up immediately, but the engine caught the bus I a glancing blow, causing some damage ■ to the bonnet and the front part of the ) vehicle. There were no passengers on board.
