OFFICIAL FIGURES FOR JUlfE^ .cases '"hM diphMeria:.;', . ! There were 44 cases of diphtheria reported to the Auckland Health Office during June; the majority coming from the Central health district. Eleven cases were reported from the South Auckland district, and eight from the ThamesTauranga areas. The number of tuberculosis cases reported was 32, and there were also 15 cases of scarlet fever. The total number of infectious diseases notified in the Auckland health district for June was 91. The respective health officers reported as follow: — North Auckland District (Dr. Herbert Chesson).—Scarlet'fever 1, diphtheria 8, tuberculosis 6, erysipelas 3. . ThamesTauranga: Diphtheria 3, tuberculosis 5. South Auckland District .(Dr, J.. Boyd). —Scarlet fever 4, diphtheria 11, tuberculosis 3* cerebro-spinal meningitis 1, erysipelas 2, bac. dysentery- 1, undulant fever 1, trachoma 1. ,;'-•<> Central Auckland . District (Dr. T.
