That by her excellent and wimple system of grading meat for export Now Zealand had a great advantage over Australia in export sale, was an opinion expressed by Mr. T. P. Hearae, a Gippaland farmer who has. juet returned from abroad. After adding that New Zealand shared with Argentine a superiority over the Australian product, Mr. Hearae also referred to the Australian pigs exported as having an appearance that operated against their popularity in England. Instead of being red-akinncd and fiery, carcase flesh should be light in colour and fresh-looking. Ho thought the trouble waa faulty handling at freezing works prior to being shipped away. v
